Our Story

While working as a postman, Roland Bigonger became determined to put himself through law school and in 1962, he opened the first law office in Yorba Linda, California. Being the lighthearted and likeable guy that he was, Roland Bigonger was elected the first mayor of the newly incorporated City of Yorba Linda, a position he treasured dearly. In addition to his role on the Yorba Linda City Council, Roland Bigonger was highly instrumental in bringing the Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace to its current location in Yorba Linda challenging cities such as San Clemente, California for the opportunity.

In 1983, after working as an insurance adjuster, Roland Bigonger’s son, Jeffrey Bigonger, began practicing law alongside his father. Jeffrey Bigonger opened up new practice areas at the firm and became a California Certified Specialist in the area of Worker’s Compensation. Since Roland Bigonger passed away in 1997, Jeffrey had been working as a sole practitioner handling worker’s compensation, personal injury, estate planning, trust administration, and various other legal matters.

In 2012, Jeffrey Bigonger’s daughter, Samantha Bigonger, became a licensed California attorney and she is now practicing law alongside her father. Samantha Bigonger handles the personal injury, estate planning, and criminal practice areas at the firm, while her father focuses mostly on worker’s compensation matters. Samantha Bigonger hopes to carry on the legal tradition just like her father and grandfather before her and continue to provide quality legal services at reasonable prices to the residents of Yorba Linda and the surrounding area.
